 Verified A great tour of Luxor
We loved our tour of the East and West Banks in Luxor. Sawsan was a fantastic guide who had lots of interesting knowledge for to the sites we visited. Her English was exciting. I'd recommend asking for her by name if you book this your. Our driver, Momen, also did a great job. He got us to the front of each site in spite of heavy traffic at each. Had a lovely experience with the Marriott Bonvoy driver service. The ride was comfortable, the vehicle was clean and well-maintained, and everything was well coordinated. 10/10 RECOMMEND!! Sawsan (“Susan”) was such an amazing tour guide she covered the East & West Bank excellently- I highly praise and recommend her and want to thank her for everything!! Moustafa was so easy to communicate with and get the tour set up and was so great about checking in throughout the whole process!! and we had two great drivers, Mohammed and Amr!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my experience with Luxor Safe Tours & Taxi! Moustafa was so easy to get in touch with and checked in before, during and after the tour- he setup everything perfectly! We had such an amazing guide, Sawsan (“Susan”) who was just the kindest, most understanding and such a knowledgeable guide- we had a such a great time and shared some great laughs. She helped us with negotiating prices for things, and so graciously went at the perfect pace for us to see everything we wanted to see; I can’t thank her enough. Truly enjoyed touring with and learning from her! And the driver Mohamed was so great, and was so kind to go out of his way to go back and look for a lost item of mine at one of the temples. Amr was also another wonderful driver and was so funny and we had a fun time laughing, eating and dancing while on the Nile Felluca boat ride. I cannot recommend Luxor Safe Tours& Taxi enough and I cannot wait to comeback and tour with them again!!

Our full day experience was really exceptional from beginning to end. A couple things stand out for us. First and foremost our tour guide Mona was extremely professional, knowledgeable and kind . She catered the day to our interests and requests, even bringing us to an oil shop hearing that my wife loved perfumes and scents (cross your fingers to get Mona!) Secondly, the convenience of having a private tour, with a professional guide and driver cannot be underplayed. It truly is the best way to visit Luxor. No worries about moving around, on your own time and in the way you want it. Finally, the tour operator made sure to check in before and after the tour to ensure everything was properly being managed and timed. Highly suggest booking this experience

We used Luxor Safe Tours for a private West Bank day with four adults — Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Medinet Habu and Deir el-Medina — and for the transfer from Luxor to Marsa Alam. Site tickets we paid separately. Probably not the cheapest option in Luxor, but very good value for a private car with hotel pickup and a confirmed vehicle. There was no fixed timetable: we set the pace, and the driver followed it. The real advantage was how little we had to worry about. Once it was booked, the day ran without stress. Mostafa handled everything on WhatsApp and was clear about the vehicle. What we agreed is what we got, on both jobs. Customer attention stayed consistent from the first message to the drop-off. The vehicle was very comfortable, with air conditioning that actually worked, and we were given cold water as a courtesy. That mattered on the West Bank day and even more on the drive to Marsa Alam. Shazly looked after us on the road: safe driving, and he checked we were comfortable without being pushy. If you only want the lowest street fare, look elsewhere.
