Tour Plan
Day 1: Marsa Alam Transfer, Luxor East Bank, and Overnight Luxor
Early in the morning, our driver will pick you up from your Marsa Alam hotel in a private A.C. car for the transfer to Luxor, approximately a 4-5-hour drive. Upon arrival in Luxor, our representative will assist you in checking into your 3-star hotel. You can relax before starting the East Bank tour.
Visit: Temple of Karnak
Meet your Egyptology guide at 3:00 pm to explore the famous Karnak Temple, one of the largest places of worship ever built. Its ancient name, Ipet-isut, translates to "the most sacred of places." This temple complex, constructed over two thousand years by successive generations of pharaohs, features the awe-inspiring "Hypostyle Hall" with its giant pillars.
Luxor Temple
Next, visit the majestic Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals, dedicated to the god Amun. You'll have some free time for shopping in Luxor before returning to your hotel for the night.
Day 2: Valley of the Kings and Return to Marsa Alam
Have breakfast and check out to begin your West Bank tour at 8:00 am. Drive to the west bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where you'll explore the magnificent tombs, deep within the desert rock, lavishly decorated and filled with treasures for the pharaohs' afterlife. You'll have the opportunity to visit three tombs.
Temple of Hatshepsut
Continue the tour with a visit to the impressive Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahari. This temple, dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh, rises from the desert plain in terraces, blending with the surrounding limestone cliffs.
Return to Marsa Alam
Afterward, you'll be transferred back to your Marsa Alam hotel.
